"I accidentally booked the wrong date and..."
I accidentally booked the wrong date and had to cancel, which I was kind of dreading. For something like a last-minute mistake, I mostly just want clear refund info and no hassle, and that’s pretty much what happened. Support replied fairly quickly, the refund details were easy to understand, and the money was back in my account after a few days. Not sure I’d be thrilled if I had been dealing with a more complicated issue, but for a simple cancellation, it went better than I expected...

"Such a cool building 😍"
I really liked this place! The big round glass section stood out the most to me, it makes the whole building feel super open and modern. It was also easy to walk around, which made the visit even better 🙂

"Super easy audio guide"
The app worked really well, and the audio guide made the whole experience so much easier to follow. It was simple, helpful, and made everything more enjoyable.

I visited the Academy Museum and was impressed by how clean everything was. The bathrooms were tidy, the floors and exhibits looked well maintained, and nothing felt run down at all. Even with a decent crowd, the whole place still felt really looked after. That said, I did feel a little dismissed when I had a question and didn’t get much attention from staff. Still, credit where it’s due, they’re doing a great job keeping the museum in good shape.

"Decent spot for families, but I expected a bit more"
I went with the kids and at first I figured it would be an easy win for the whole family. It was mostly fine, but a few parts lost their attention quickly. The place itself is nice, and I’m glad we checked it out, but I wouldn’t assume it’s super kid-friendly across the board.

"Bad first impression with confusing signs"
My first impression wasn’t great. Once I got inside, the signs didn’t really help much, and I ended up feeling a bit confused about where to go. It just made the whole experience more frustrating than it needed to be.

The rooftop was nice and had a good view, so that was probably best part. But outside of that, outdoor space felt just okay and not really anything special.

"Something just felt off about the screening"
The whole screening just didn’t feel right to me. The movie looked way too dim, and the sound seemed off for most of it. I can’t say exactly what was wrong, but my gut feeling was that the setup wasn’t great.

"Nice visit and the timing felt right"
I was there for about 2 hours and it felt like a good amount of time, because some rooms I just walked through quickly while others had more to look at and made me slow down, and even though a couple of spots felt like they dragged a little, overall it was easy to keep moving and enjoy the visit without feeling rushed or like I was stuck there too long.

"I’m not sure if I’m just the kind..."
I’m not sure if I’m just the kind of person who gets tired easily, but I really appreciated how many places there were to sit around the museum. We were able to take little breaks without feeling like we had to rush through everything. The benches and rest areas were clean and easy to spot, which made the whole visit a lot more comfortable.

"Wanted to Like It More"
I’m not saying the whole place was bad, because some of the exhibits did look cool. But there just wasn’t enough variety for me. A lot of it felt kind of thin or like it was only halfway explained, and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect more actual movie history from a place like this. I left feeling a bit disappointed.

"Okay museum, but the staff was a letdown"
The museum itself was fine, but the staff situation was disappointing?! I asked a basic question about where to go next and got this super short answer, like I was bothering them. A couple people were friendly, to be fair, but most didn’t really seem interested in helping. It made the whole visit feel kind of confusing and not very welcoming. For the price, I definitely expected better.

The elevators were confusing at first, and the whole accommodations setup felt kind of unorganized. The staff did try to help, though, I was going to say it was frustrating the whole time, but they were nice and seemed like they were doing their best.

"Parking was easy, which was nice…"
Parking was easy, which was nice, and the bus stop was really close too. That part was convenient. But i still found myself getting annoyed by little things. It was easy to park, yes, and yes, the bus stop was nearby, but the overall experience still had stuff that bothered me. Just one of those places where the convenience is there, but you still leave with complaints.

"Nice membership, just a small hiccup"
The membership perks are nice, uh, I’ve definitely enjoyed using them. The only thing is that booking tickets online can be a little confusing sometimes, but overall it’s been a good experience.

"I had way more fun in the…"
I had way more fun in the gift shop than I expected! They had a really great selection of movie books, posters, and cute little gifts, and I swear I could’ve wandered around forever. I ended up finding a couple of cool things for friends, which felt like a tiny victory. The prices were a bit high, but not so outrageous that I felt personally attacked. Overall, a super fun stop!

"I really loved all the interactive…"
I really loved all the interactive stuff—it felt a little like being inside the movies. There’s so much to do that you could easily spend hours there without getting bored. I just felt kind of rushed trying to fit everything in, but overall it was a really fun experience.
